Actions and Events in Your Area
Marie's story moved countless people around the country to get organized
and take action. Her local community formed the "Gonzalez Group"
to help support Marie and her parents, and take action on their behalf.
Other organizations around the country also took up Marie's cause and
planned public events to demonstrate their solidarity with Marie and the
immigrants in their local community.
